Behruz Bahadoori
Born in 1956 in Persia on the Caspian Sea. As a child, he constantly makes landscapes and portraits in charcoal and pastels, and from that time Bahadoori does not stop painting.
After high school, he begins to study industrial accounting in Tehran - not out of a free heart, but because the school system suggests this path. During his studies, he continued to paint and develop his personal technique.
In search of a way out, Bahadoori came to Europe in 1979. He wanted to finish his studies as quickly as possible and enrolled at the University of Economics in Vienna. From 1983 to 1986 he was an assistant to the painter Gottfried Helnwein and learned various painting techniques from him.
From 1984 he works as a freelance artist. In 1995 he works with Robert Schöller in Florida.2001 he lives in the USA and makes a name for himself in numerous exhibitions, after his works were already shown in the USA in the two years before.
From 2002 back in Vienna, he works here as a freelance artist (www.bahadoori.com) and carries out interesting restorations - for example, the Chinese lacquer panels for the Vieux Laque room in Schönbrunn Palace.
In the 3rd district of Vienna at Neulinggasse 19 is his studio, where you can see his fantastic "Pictures of Illusion" and visit the artist Behruz Bahadoori (advance booking requested).
Today, his focus is on artistic painting (landscape, portrait) as well as the restoration of special murals, such as the Chinese lacquer painting in Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, and his illusion murals.
